Micro-Credentials

Micro-credentials are shareable endorsements of knowledge, skills or competencies gained through the completion of a course or module or demonstration of understanding.


Energy Advisors are needed to conduct EnerGuide evaluations as part of the federal Greener Homes initiative, and also support a number of Efficiency Manitoba programs.

Available Awards & Bursaries


Available for members of underrepresented groups enrolling in the intro course of the program: women, Indigenous peoples, persons with disabilities, racialized individuals and individuals who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+

Directed at newcomers enrolling with an additional bursary award upon acceptance into program.

All students are considered for this bursary, special consideration given to financial need. 




The Canadian Association of Consulting Energy Advisors (CACEA) was founded in 2017 to support a sustainable profession of successful and credible Canadian energy advisors (EA). CACEA is committed to working with the building and energy community and facilitating opportunities to enhance the EA’s profile, contribution, and impact to these sectors.

With membership across the country, it is the only Association that represents and supports Canadian EAs specifically. Members are recognized for being held to a higher standards that other registered EAs and have access to knowledge, discounts to a variety of products and services; a strong and supportive network, as well as the opportunity to influence change by being part of the conversation with key industry and regulatory stakeholders.
